Single-Shaft System
Controlled Fine Shredding with Hydraulic Push Feeding

The single-shaft hydraulic shredder is mainly composed of a cutter rotor, shredding chamber, feeding system, hydraulic push-feeding system, power drive system, and electrical control system.

Working Principle: Material is loaded into the feed hopper and continuously pushed toward the rotating cutter rotor by a hydraulically driven ram. Moving knives and fixed counter-knives apply shearing, tearing, and squeezing forces. A bottom screen regulates the final particle size: correctly sized material passes through, while oversized material remains in the chamber for further shredding. Different screen apertures can be selected to customize the output size.

Low-Speed, High-Torque Primary Coarse Shredding

The dual-shaft hydraulic shredder is a low-speed, high-torque primary coarse shredding machine consisting mainly of a hydraulic power system, dual-shaft cutter assembly, heavy-duty housing, and intelligent electrical control system.

It commonly serves as the first stage in solid-waste processing lines. Intermeshing blades on two parallel shafts rotate in opposite directions, applying simultaneous shearing, tearing, and squeezing forces to reduce large feed material into smaller pieces suitable for downstream processing.

Plastic Recycling

Single-shaft shredders are well suited to thick-walled hard plastics, while dual-shaft or anti-winding single-shaft configurations can be selected for films, woven bags, and fishing nets.

Rubber and Tires

A dual-shaft shredder performs primary coarse shredding of whole tires or large rubber blocks, followed by screened single-shaft shredding when smaller, more uniform particles are required.

Paper Products and Fibers

Hydraulic push feeding continuously compresses bulky paper, fabric, and low-density fiber materials into the cutter rotor. Anti-winding rotor designs help prevent yarn and fabric from wrapping around the shaft.
