1. For avoiding appear continuous casting cracks, we need to strictly control the process quality of sector repair and control the arc error ± 0.10mm max; Roll gap error shall be controlled ±0.15mm max; The error of on-line outer arc shall be controlled ± 0.30mm max, and the positive deviation shall be taken. Set up professional equipment spot inspectors to strengthen the supervision of upper and lower line equipment and improve the accuracy of caster equipment.

2. Type selection of secondary cooling nozzle: modify the secondary cooling nozzle to improve the atomization effect of the nozzle, improve the spot inspection and confirmation system of the caster, strengthen the inspection of the nozzle, and timely handle and replace the blocked nozzle to ensure uniform cooling of the slab. Make a cold test device for the secondary cooling nozzle, conduct sampling inspection for the nozzle, and repair or replace it if it fails to meet the requirements, so as to improve the cooling quality of the slab surface.

3. Improve the qualification rate of tundish temperature. By strictly grasping the steel feeding temperature of converter and refining furnace and strengthening the examination, the qualified rate of tundish temperature is stably controlled at more than 90%. Improve the production organization and coordination ability of the dispatcher, adhere to the "continuous casting as the center", ensure the stable production rhythm and no slow drawing of steel such as continuous casting, and incorporate the drawing speed fluctuation into the process discipline assessment regulations. The drawing speed fluctuation of a single caster in a single shift is ≤ 3 times.

The occurrence of continuous casting slab crack is inseparable from the high-temperature mechanical properties of different steel grades, the functional accuracy of continuous casting machine equipment and the production technology of different steel grades. Only when these three factors are closely combined and considered as a whole in the production process, can the real causes of cracks be found out and effective measures be taken to control the production of cracks
